A little bit about Jim . . .
Jim lives and works in Queensland, Australia. His first novel “Sparrows with Vertigo” was published on Amazon/Kindle in 2011. He has been involved in local amateur dramatics for many years. This has included everything from acting and directing to scenery painting and sweeping up.
“My most challenging role was, while living in Cyprus, in Antony & Cleopatra playing the part of Proculeius, at Shakespeare at Curium.”
Following army service, Jim Pinnock worked in commercial finance, before becoming a management trainer. His long devotion and application to writing is underpinned by a sound education and many years of both military and business experience.
Before moving to Cyprus, Jim was a member of The Oxford Writers’ Circle. Currently he is an active member of literary groups in Cyprus University of the Third Age (C3A). Since moving to Queensland he continues to write for the theatre.
He is driven by a love of literature in many genres and also is involved in amateur dramatics, having written, produced and directed productions in Cyprus. Several of Jim’s One-Act plays have been produced by amateur dramatic groups in the UK, the USA and other parts of the world.
