REVIEWS FOR SPARROWS WITH VERTIGO
AN ORIGINAL NOVEL 10 Jan. 2012 Kindle Edition
By supertrooper
My first impressions of “Sparrows with Vertigo” were the powerful characters and the way I was quickly transported back nearly one hundred years to another time of world crisis. This is not an anti-war novel in the true sense but it accurately describes the horror of the time and the way people were affected by the First World War. The main protagonist is a policeman who takes up the challenge to thwart the villains while fighting his own doubts about taking the law into his own hands. It was also a wonderfully refreshing love story and is devoid of graphic love scenes; the author gave us credit for having an imagination in this area. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates a good read.
TOP READING, WELL DONE! 23 Mar. 2012 Kindle Edition

I really enjoyed this novel. It is not my usual thing but I do try to read something out of my usual comfort zone, once in a while. A creaking read and well worth the fee. Good to know that some of the money goes to a good cause. I highly recommend it for a holiday read made my flight slip by virtually un-noticed!! Can’t wait for the next one.

I was a bit confused at first when all the characters were brought into the story, but it soon became apparent how they were all linked. A well researched and interesting novel set in the time of the First World War. I very much enjoyed reading it!
Cracking Read!! 24 Jan. 2012 Kindle Edition

This was a fantastic read! I read it in two days and really enjoyed it. The plot was enjoyable and kept me entertained throughout the novel. Some of the characters evolved gradually and I found that they were often complex and flawed individuals – real people in other words! Some developments in the story were expected, but there are some intriguing twists in the plot as well. Highly recommended. Well Done!!! When is the next episode coming out?

Sparrows with Vertigo 15 Jan. 2012 Kindle Edition
I thoroughly recommend this book. This is an intelligent thriller with a conscience. It gives us a combination of thrills, drama and emotional turmoil. Although this is not a polemic against war, it delivers some strong social observations while providing the deserved “come-uppance” for the villains. The love story that was woven into the plot moved me deeply and I did not feel that this writer was playing with my emotions in the way that some do. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.
